It’s been said that anyone who is involved in start-ups in Spain can’t fail to know who Luis Martín Cabiedes is – suffice it to say he’s one of the country’s most influential business angels and entrepreneurs.

He started out in the big time as the Ceo of Europa Press and now via the angel/ investment fund CABIEDES AND PARTNERS he has been an investor and advisor for many start-ups, including (for example) www.bubok.com , www.trovit.com , www.nvivo.es , www.coguan.com ,www.habitissimo.com and www.blablacar.com

More recently they have invested in such promising projects as Kantox and Ducksboard.

As a seed investor Luis has stated that he prefers to invest in two stages – the first is usually between 100 and 250k Euros, and then the second stage if targets are met, of up to one million Euros.

In short, he’s a big player in the Spanish start-up investment scene, and if you manage to convince him to invest in your project, you know you’re doing something right.
