Personality analysis start-up Traity wins funding round.

A Spanish company that operates from California and Madrid, and that has gained 800,000 registered users in just a year of operation, has closed a funding round from investors such as Horizon Ventures, BDMI, SeedCamp and 500 Startups.

Traity offers free personality tests via the web that involve a psychometric scoring of worker personality traits. This can demonstrate people's strengths and weaknesses and give them ideas on how to communicate with others more effectively. Moreover it provides a valuable service to recruiting companies who are looking not just for talent with specific job skills, but also need recruits with the right personality type and cultural fit for their enterprise.
